As luck would have it – on Tuesday I found out that Alley Burger was going to be parking their truck by my work…after work! A quick dance party in my office ensued. I was finally going to get to taste my first Alley Burger. I got there shortly after 5:00PM for a 5:45 open. I’m the 9th person in line. No chance for them to run out. Score!
It took a total time of an hour in line (they opened late) but I got to meet a twitter contact (John) and spent some time chatting with him. Finally, I got my hands on the elusive alley burger with an order of large fries (cooked in duck fat). MMMMMMM…..Worth every minute in line. I even heard someone mention that it tasted even better off the truck than it did coming out the back door of the restaurant.
So blessed that I have finally joined the group of foodies who have indulged in the Alley Burger (made with Spragg Farm Pork and Roasted garlic sausage). Next time, I’m going to try the Whole Truck burger (beef).
