Nosh, Restaurant

Noshing in the mountains

This past weekend, the weather was fantastic. Two glorious days were spent in Canmore and Banff for the 4th Annual Dragon Boat Festival at Lake Minnewanka. I was busy paddling (on the extremely clear but FREEZING lake)…so, there are only a handful of photos. What is there to say really? The food was great, the company was insane and all was well.

You know what was super exciting? The festival was gearing towards being a zero waste event. Everything (with the exception of plastic bags) was separated into the appropriate bins to be recycled. Super cool! I even got someone out of dragon boat retirement <insert evil laugh here> and I’m HOPING that he’ll consider joining us next year.

I do wish I had taken more pictures. Maybe my team members will be super cool and send me some photos of their lovely smiling mugs. I swear I don’t bite. Paddles Up until next year!

About Eunice

I'm just a girl who is passionate about food. It is my personal quest to try to expand my culinary horizons both at home and abroad. However, I was not always passionate about food. I had my epiphany much later when I got my very first job...at a sushi joint here in town. And just like that "Hook, line and sinker"...a foodie was born! I'm a P/T blogger, P/T yogini...but always a foodie.
